Amber is a world-renowned fossilized resin that originated from the forests of primeval pine trees and is often millions of years old. Most of the world's deposits are found in the Baltic Sea region, which is why it is also known as the "Gold of the North." Its color palette ranges from light yellow to warm orange, and even rare reddish or greenish hues, which are created by organic inclusions. What makes it unique are fossil inclusions such as perfectly preserved insects or plant parts (inclusions), which offer a glimpse into primeval times millions of years ago. Since antiquity, it has been crafted into jewelry and art objects along historical trade routes.
